XSO was conceptualized as a multi-venue latin-forward nightclub on the third floor of the Pavilions shopping center located on the 16th St. Mall in downtown Denver. The project linked a failing restaurant and vacant jazz club into a unified club experience with 2 performance venues, 4 bars, and a significant outdoor patio. The largest venue is dedicated to Reggaeton as well as live Mexican music while the smaller space called Cielo is focused on EDM, and house music. Cielo has a theme of sky, sunsets, and celestial phenomena while the main XSO has a more traditional night club experience. Assisted by Studiotrope for interior design,
